The studio was built to be on the receiving end of the most important and influential briefs of our time — across advertising, design, experience, entertainment and beyond. The studio now boasts offices on three continents (London, New York & Stockholm) and has built a successful portfolio partnering with many of the world’s most renowned and creatively ambitious brands including British Airways, SiriusXM, ITV, WWF, Supercell, Quaker Oats, Formula E and most recently the new brand identity and global launch for EA SPORTS FC — coined as one of the biggest rebranding exercises in entertainment history by BBC News.

With over 20 years of experience at the forefront of the creative industry, Scott brings unparalleled expertise and a global perspective that will propel the studio’s creative endeavours to new heights.

Scott Dungate, Chief Creative Officer, Uncommon London said: “Uncommon is a studio built on a culture of making. They have a ferocious desire to push and apply creativity and craft into every corner they can, whether that’s design, experience, fashion, art or communication. They understand the power of work that creates fame to have a huge impact for the brands and companies they partner with.

This is what really stood out to me and attracted me to joining the studio. Uncommon want to hire creatives at all levels that aren’t afraid to get in the trenches, to help make the work better and push it into different directions. I can’t wait to get back to London and get started.”

Nils Leonard, co-founder, Uncommon added: “Scott is a rare talent. His love of making and belief in creativity and its role in the world matches our own. Scott is the type of creative leader who is still a maker at heart and loves being in the work, working with the team. This is what we do. We couldn’t be happier he has chosen Uncommon as his next home.

When we first started, it was our ambition to build a company that could be a lighthouse for the world’s best talent before anything else. Scott leading London’s creative output — alongside Björn Ståhl in Stockholm and Sam Shepherd in New York — presents a really exciting time for the studio’s creative vision. Levels.”
